The Terre Haute Children’s Museum (THCM), in the heart of Terre Haute, is hub for all ages to be curious and play. But COVID-19 caused the museum to close its doors, forced to utilize other outdoor space like the City and County parks. While the community parks are wonderful, what an asset it would be to have a space physically connected to the museum in downtown Terre Haute.
On average, most families spend one to two hours exploring the THCM. With the outside addition, time would increase and provide our guests with relaxation and fun, potentially resulting in guests visiting other downtown businesses, like restaurants and shopping. 8th Street Avenue to Ohio Boulevard would close to include:
