Happiness Bag

Happiness Bag, Inc. is the only educational and recreational oriented facility in the entire Wabash Valley, offering a respite care program as well as participant assistance and care services. Happiness Bag also provides summer day camp, wellness coordination and space for music therapy services provided by Rhythm Garden as well as facility, residential and community-based habilitations. 

Currently, Happiness Bag serves 250 friends ages five through 85 that participate in the various programs.  But as demand for services provided by Happiness Bag grows from the Wabash Valley and surrounding areas, the need to expand the facility, programs and services, in turn, grows too. The final expansion plan includes:

• 11,000 sq. ft. of space.
• An expanded lunch area.
• A recreational room for large group activities.
• A computer lab.
• A music room.
• A teaching kitchen and classrooms.
• Additional restroom facilities.
• Employee space, including offices and conference rooms.
• Ability to offer rental spaces, separate of primary programming areas.
• Reduction and potential elimination of the need for a waiting list.

The new space, adjoining the current facility, will increase Happiness Bag's capacity to provide much-needed programming and resources to their friends and loved ones.
